Well we've tried and we just can’t seem to find ANYTHING we don’t love about green tea! We recommend our Green Tea Facial for all skin types. 

Anti-aging: Green tea is an antioxidant powerhouse, so it protects against free radical damage. The EGCG compounds in green tea can actually reactivate skin cells that are dying due to poor lifestyle habits, exposure to sunlight, and pollution. Plus, it contains high level of oligomeric proanthocyanidins – OPCs – some of the most powerful antioxidants known to scientists. These antioxidants help ward off premature aging by fighting free radicals and healing damaged cells. And that’s not all: OPCs also inhibit the enzymes that break down collagen and elastin, which are essential for skin’s strength and suppleness.

Sun Damage: Green Tea also increases the effectiveness of sunscreen and reduces inflammation caused by sun damage. In fact, studies performed at The Skin Center at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University have found that topically applied Green Tea decreases the direct effects of sunburn.

Green Tea Extract:

Jojoba Oil:

What Is Emu Oil?

Emu oil adds an extra boost of moisturization to our products and is recommended for anyone with very dry skin, sensitive skin, or a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis.

Emu oil is incredibly moisturizing, but rapidly absorbs, leaving your skin super hydrated without any greasy feeling. Emu oil has a very similar chemical composition to the sebum (aka oil) naturally produced by our bodies so it is completely non-irritating. It has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and healing properties making it an excellent choice for anyone suffering from a skin condition like eczema or psoriasis, and also has purported benefits for burns and scarring. It does not change the scent of the products, so your Simple Sugars product will smell just as amazing with the emu oil added as it does without it.

Emu oil is an animal product, and is derived from the back fat of the emu bird. The birds are not killed for their oil - emus are raised for their meat, and the oil is a byproduct. We use only the finest, highest quality, refined emu oil, and it is produced in the US. Simple Sugars products with emu oil are not vegan, but the products with emu oil added are the ONLY products in the Simple Sugars line that contain any animal ingredients.

Cleared my redness

I love this product! I have rosacea and it cleared my redness in 1 day. I used this product when it first came out and hadn’t had a flare up until recently when I started HRT therapy for menopause . It does wonders and my skin is flawless and clear.

Best gentle everyday cleanser for acne! Makes your skin super soft, smells great, and really affordable. Not sure why anyone struggling with acne wouldn't give it a try. Simple sugars green tea facial does not disappoint!
